About ExamOS
ExamOS is a secure operating system designed by XPDevs for educational institutions, tailored specifically for use during exams and assessments. Built with simplicity, security, and integrity at its core, it prevents cheating and ensures focus.
ExamOS boots into a controlled text editor environment where students can write answers but cannot access external programs, the internet, or system-level functions. It runs efficiently on low-end hardware and is optimised for reliability and focus.
To ensure maximum exam security, ExamOS is password-protected from the moment it boots. Only authorised staff or administrators can access the system or exit it. Students are locked into the exam environment until the password is entered correctly — preventing early exits or tampering.
Like DoorsOS, ExamOS is built using the custom NexShell kernel — giving it tight low-level control and minimal attack surface. Each session logs usage, disables shortcuts, and maintains exam integrity without compromising on speed or usability.
Whether you're running mock exams or full-scale national assessments, ExamOS gives you confidence that students are focused and secure.
Simple. Locked down. Purpose-built for education — that's ExamOS.
